Landscape and Garden Design

Wild Rose can provide you with a complete garden design, including a base map of your property, conceptual hardscape features (walls, trellises, terraces, decks, patios, accents), plant placement and a list of all plants with their botanic and common names.

Claudia can connect you with proven experts in installation, irrigation, stonework, and concrete. She will also supervise the procurement and installation of plants and special garden features.

Plant Procurement

Claudia can send your plant list to a plant broker who will deliver the plants to your site, or she can visit wholesale nurseries and select the plants for you.

Lawn Alternatives

It's easy to reduce your water use and still have a beautiful garden by using California natives, Mediterranean plants, succulents or ground covers. Many water districts are giving customer rebates for this, up to $2.00 per square foot of lawn replaced. See Claudia's Resources Page for more info.

Garden Coaching

Claudia will spend time with you to help you understand the needs of your plants including:
• How to take care of your soil — the key to a successful garden
• Light duty pruning and shaping of existing plants
• Selecting plants for each area of your garden

Follow-up to a New Garden

After your new garden is installed, Claudia will visit to check the condition of the new plants, adjust the irrigation, and make sure that you understand what to do to ensure the success of your new garden.
